Why This Program

Here's the principle this program is built on: if you want to build a relationship, become conversant in a language, or play the ukulele, you have to engage it at least once every five to ten days. Let three weeks slip and that relationship, that learning, that investment in the experience gets gradually harder to restart. to the point where you're likely to feel embarrassed to reach back out, pick it up again, and re-explore.


The Five Horizons program is built on this principle. Engage something consistently for two years and your brain takes it seriously and goes after you to improve and persist. It takes two years to pay the cognitive mortgage. But then you own it.


Working with one of our most experienced coaches, you'll move through all five horizons of your life (projects, responsibilities, goals, vision, and purpose) ensuring that each level supports the others and that your daily actions reflect the life you're building.

Core Program

$61,800 USD / year — two-year minimum commitment

The foundation of the Five Horizons engagement. Designed for consistent, deep work across all five levels over time.

  • Ongoing support between sessions (text, email, and ad hoc calls) so the coaching stays connected to your real work

Additional In-Person Days

$10,000 USD / day — consecutive days at $8,000 USD / day
+ travel, meals, accommodations

For clients who want to accelerate progress, work through a major transition, or go deeper on a specific horizon.

Program Structure

GTD operates across five horizons of focus. From the immediate ground level of your daily actions all the way up to the deeper questions of purpose and principles. Most productivity work happens at the bottom. The Five Horizons program works across all of them, ensuring that each level supports and reinforces the others.

Horizon 1 — Projects & Actions (Ground Level)

The immediate terrain. These are the concrete commitments you're actively moving forward such as tasks with clear next actions and projects with defined outcomes. You begin here, ensuring everything in motion is clearly defined and pointed toward meaningful results.

Horizon 2 — Areas of Focus & Responsibility

The ongoing commitments that define your role at work and in life. These aren't projects with end dates. They're the domains you're responsible for maintaining: your health, your team, your relationships, and your finances. You revisit, reaffirm, or renegotiate these as your circumstances evolve.

Horizon 3 — Goals & Objectives

Where you're headed over the next one to two years. This is the bridge between your current responsibilities and your longer-term aspirations, the specific outcomes you're working toward that give direction to your daily work.

Horizon 4 — Vision

The space where ideas exist before they become commitments. What could you build? What might be possible? What direction feels worth pursuing even if you can't fully see the path yet? This horizon explores what you want your work and life to look like at a longer range.

Horizon 5 — Purpose & Principles

The deepest level. The questions about who you want to be, what matters most to you, and the impact you want to have. This horizon informs every other level. When it's clear, everything below it becomes easier to navigate.

Throughout the two years, you move between these horizons, sometimes zooming in to clear a runway, sometimes zooming out to recalibrate direction. The ongoing movement between levels is what creates alignment. Your actions reflect your commitments, your commitments reflect your goals, your goals reflect your vision, and your vision reflects who you're choosing to become.


That coherence is felt in your daily work, in the decisions you make, and in the life you're building towards.

What's Included

  • Dedicated Senior Coach: You work with one of GTD Focus's most experienced coaches throughout the full two years, someone who holds the complete picture of your work and life across every horizon.
  • Ongoing Between-Session Support: Text, email, and ad hoc calls between sessions so the coaching stays connected to your real work as it's happening, not just what you remember to report at your next session.
  • The Kairos Assessment: A cognitive profile that maps how your attention activates, what it locks onto, and where friction tends to appear. Used throughout the engagement to tailor the methodology to how you think and work best.
  • Program Completion Certificate: Issued upon completion of the two-year engagement.

Time Commitment

Two Year Minimum Commitment

The core engagement period. The time required to build, sustain, and fully integrate alignment across all five horizons. Two years reflects the cognitive reality that deep system change requires consistent engagement over time.

Six or More Virtual Sessions Per Quarter

Regular touchpoints that keep the work moving between in-person intensives reviewing what's changed, recalibrating what's next, and ensuring the system stays aligned with your evolving life.

At Least One In-Person Session Per Quarter

Face-to-face work at key intervals throughout the year, pairing the depth of direct observation with the consistency of virtual sessions.

Two Day In-Person Kickoff

The engagement begins with an immersive two-day in-person session, a deep dive into your current system, your horizons of focus, and the foundational direction that will guide the work ahead. This is where the two years take shape.

Program Investment

The Five Horizons Program is a $61,800 USD annual investment, billed yearly, with a two-year minimum commitment equalling $123,600 USD in total. It is the most intensive coaching engagement GTD Focus offers, and is designed for individuals who are ready to do the most serious work of their professional and personal lives. 


Additional in-person days are available at $10,000 USD per day with consecutive days being billed at $8,000 USD.
