Co-Founders

The People Behind the Practice

David Allen

CEO & Founder

The author of Getting Things Done, the book TIME magazine called "the defining self-help business book of its time." David co-founded GTD Focus to bring the methodology he developed over decades directly into one-on-one coaching, setting the standard for how it's delivered across North America.

Francis Sopper

CEO

Francis has been a daily GTD practitioner since 1999, long enough to know what it takes to make the methodology stick. As CEO, he brings a career spent leading organizations, developing talent, and working with executives across industries to ensure every GTD Focus client gets a coaching experience that delivers.

Our Team

The People Who'll Help You Get There

Meg Edwards

President & Coach

Meg has been coaching clients in the GTD methodology since 1999. With a Master's in Applied Psychology and over two decades of practice ranging from Fortune 100 executives to individuals rebuilding how they work from the ground up, she brings a depth of expertise. Every client gets the same level of personal focus and insight, regardless of where they're starting from.

Lisa Peake

Coach

Lisa discovered GTD at a David Allen seminar in high school and has been a practitioner for over 20 years, helping build the GTD Connect community from the ground up alongside David Allen himself. She brings a combination of deep methodology knowledge and senior leadership experience across education, nonprofits, and business to craft an approach that's unique for client she works with.

Kerry Gallivan

Coach

Kerry brings something unique to GTD coaching, the perspective of an active founder and CEO who relies on the methodology to run a company while coaching others to do the same. With a career spanning satellite networks, public health technology, and education, he has a practical, systems-minded approach that resonates especially well with entrepreneurs and leaders navigating complex, fast-moving work.

Julie Ireland

Coach

Julie has been delivering GTD coaching since 2005, working with senior executives across financial services, nonprofits, and international organizations spanning three continents. She brings a background in executive search that gives her a sharp read on what high-performing leaders need, and a warmth that makes the hard work of building a new system feel less daunting.

Janet Riley

Coach

Janet has been coaching GTD since 2007 and credits the methodology with making her own increasingly demanding leadership career possible. With over 30 years in corporate learning and development, including senior roles at Disney and Delta Airlines, she brings a global perspective, having delivered productivity programs across 48 states and more than 25 countries.

Mary O'Malley

Coach

Mary brings fifteen years as an educational therapist to her GTD coaching practice, a background that gives her a uniquely deep understanding of how different people process information, manage attention, and build habits that stick. She works with clients of all ages and abilities, and brings the same personalized, learner-centered approach to every coaching engagement.

Christina Armstrong

Coach

Christina came to GTD the same way many clients do, overwhelmed, stretched thin, and looking for a way to stay on top of work without sacrificing everything else. Over a decade in higher education and years of public coaching gave her a strong understanding of what it takes to make the methodology work in a full, demanding life.

Alana Wright

Coach

Alana spent over a decade in senior roles at a Fortune 100 company before bringing that executive perspective into full-time GTD coaching. Master Certified in the methodology and working with clients across industries from technology to government, she's known for the kind of coaching presence that makes the hard work of changing how you work feel energizing, not overwhelming.

Cyrille Jégu

Coach

Cyrille has been coaching GTD across four continents and over 30 countries, bringing a global perspective that few coaches can match. With a background in change management consulting and executive coaching across industries from banking to healthcare, he has a structured yet highly adaptable approach, one shaped by years of helping people restore control and focus in the middle of complex, demanding lives.
